I received this book as part of a company-sponsored training class on the subject of Project Management. As an HR Business Partner, much of what I did was project related in support of the business leaders I worked with. It provided best practices in project management such as examples for defining the project, project planning, risk management, and the spectacularly useful Work Breakdown Structure.
It's worth ten times the $7.00 if you're new to project management and have been assigned a broad scope, resourced, budget-friendly, time-bound project but don't have a lot of time to immerse yourself in project management subject matter.
It has lots of sample forms, project examples, executive summary examples, etc. After completing the 2-day training, I used this book as a reference tool for practically every high-stakes project I was accountable for.
