On Becoming a Leader (Save $6.75)
I bought this book at an HR seminar several years back and won a raffle and received the second copy.
I liked it how it differentiates and makes comparisons between words used interchangeably in the people management discipline: supervisor, manager, and leader. The concepts in the book are specific to the author's definition of a leader, however, when starting from a common and specific point of view, the key takeaways are made clear even if you have a different/refined definition of leader than does the author.
It's worth $7.00 and more.
