Are you hot and sexy? Get a bed fan. I've learned there aren't too many that know of the existence of this "life saving unit"!!
Women of a "particular age" can get sudden hot flashes and night sweats. This can be an exceptionally bothersome condition when you are already naturally 'warm-blooded'. I know of what I SPEAK! :)But this little contraption can resolve it all. It did for me!It sits on the floor at the foot of the bed (can be placed on the side if you prefer). The fan part goes BETWEEN the fitted sheet and the top sheet and blows cool air in a specific direction. Because it blows in a specific direction, your sleeping partner doesn't have to freeze because your having a flash. I have an older version that has a remote and I only need to get in bed, point, click and I'm in cool air heaven. I would imagine any upgrade would have that too.The pricing can range for $100 to $400 depending on the brand and model -- but OOOOHHHH it's worth it.I bought mine several years ago and I paid around $110.00 for it. The version linked here is an upgrade to the one I have and it's a bit more expensive @ $159.00 - I noticed this model is VERY popular so order soon to avoid the summer back order syndrome. There are more advanced models like this one from Brookstone @ $269.00. It's typically in stock all year around. Amazon has a few bed fans too but I don't like the models - they're little units that go in the bed with you (don't like).Anyway, if you have hot flashes or night sweats, and can afford it, I highly encourage you to INVEST in a bed fan. It can change the quality of your sleep and, therefore, the quality of your day.
